    • We are at that time of the year again where the yearly Habbox Summer Spectacular takes place! This is our sixth Summer Spectacular and we are hoping this will be one of the biggest one so far! We should be all sorted in terms of planning, events booked and so on.

    For the people who have never taken part in the Habbox Summer Spectacular in previous years and don't have a clue what it is, then I shall tell you now. Habbox Summer Spectacular or HxSS for short is a big event that started around five years ago and it has an fantastic four team battle for point in a great range of events that take place on Habbo, Habbox, HabboxLive and HabboxForum.

    There is normally a lot of inter-team rivalry, but that is expected in these types of events but in the end it's a ton of fun and also great way to bond with other users.

    So why is this Spectacular? Well for the next 14 days there will be events planned from 10:00-23:00*, so that is around 100 or so events for you to take part in and get some points for your team! So are you interested? Want to take part? Well, all you have to do is join one of the four teams! It's that simple! Habbox Staff will be split up in each team also, so you can compete alongside them!

    *Events/Times will change throughout the next two weeks as more events may be booked and other events maybe cancelled and other various reasons. Keep your self up to date on what events are taking place by visiting the timetable.

    Q) What is "The Habbox Summer Spectacular"?

    A) Habbox Summer Spectacular or HxSS for short is one of the biggest events Habbox does on a yearly basis. All the departments in Habbox come together to hold TWO weeks of solid fun which is normally filled with 100+ events. Four teams will also battle it out in all types of different fun and games to win this yeaars Habbox Summer Spectacular and the prizes are BIG.

     
    Q) What are the four teams?

    Black Team (Monkeys) : Lead by Garriet and Ms.Aquamarine

    Blue Team (Hippos) : Lead by Samanfa and Pigperson

    Green Team (Snakes) : Lead by Biscuitss and 1umbrella1

    Red Team (Parrots) : Lead by Martin and Jurv

     
    Q) How can I become part of a team?

    A) You can join one of the teams by joining it's very own public group. What you need to do is go to your UserCP then "Permission Groups". (Link) You will then find a list of the team groups and click "Join". You are able to go in any team you wish. You can only choose ONE team and you must stick in ONE team. Anyone who switches teams while the Summer Spectacular is on is at risk of being disqualified.

     
    Q) What are the dates for this event?

    This year HxSS will start on Monday 13th August and will finish on Sunday 26th August. To see which events are occurring during this time you can view the timetable by going to here or here

     
    Q) I can’t attend every date! What do I do?!

    A) Don't panic, we understand not everyone can attend every day to all of the events. You can come to as many or as little as you like to earn your team some points. Please remember that if you come to more it means you have a better chance at the individual scorer title!

    Q) Why should I go to events? My team can just win!

    A) We also keep track of individual points, so if you're one of the top scorers for your team, you'll win a great prize! Top scorers of the winning team get an extra special prize!

     
    Q) What's the prize?!

    The top three overall from the teams will be able to win:

    1st Place: 200 Credits + 3 months Forum VIP + Forum Award
    2nd Place: 150 Credits + 2 months Forum VIP + Forum Award
    3rd Place: 100 Credits + 1 months Forum VIP + Forum Award

    Other Teams:

    1st: 50 Credits + 3 months Forum VIP + Forum Award
    2nd: 20 Credits + 2 months Forum VIP + Forum Award
    3rd: 10 Credits + 1 months Forum VIP + Forum Award
