New badges have been discovered!

With the Mystics furniture being released last week, it's about time there were some addiitonal features to go alongside this campaign. Mystics themed badges were uploaded earlier this week, but it remains a mystery what they will be used for. Here are the codes for the badges:

The badges could be related to the Mystic Rares that will be sold in the catalogue this weekend, or they might be related to some form of upcoming quest for the campaign. All we know is that the badges aren't unique to the .com hotel - they have been uploaded to the external flash texts on all hotels.

Under an hour ago images were released outlining a new version to the Black Holes we currently have and these will help in room building for the future!

The images given show that Black Holes will be able to go over stairs and still keep the shape of the room - a little similar to some HC room layouts available to those with the subscription. This comes after news about *new* room layouts will be coming which could mean that the rooms will not be added to, but instead we will be able to actually create them on our own.

It's unknown when or if these will be released soon, but I for one think it's an amazing idea, especially for the got game rooms to create a bit more difficulty as well as making a better, more unique room design. If you're tired of the generic rooms we have currently then you're probably going to love them. It's a shame that these weren't spotted or released sooner as those in the RBI (Room Builders Inc.) could have made good use of these, but alas the campaign will soon be ending.

Hopefully, the new Black Holes (if they are new or just a different way to place them in rooms) will be released at 3 Credits each like the ones we have now.

After the merge of the English-speaking Hotels we were told that a name deletion wouldn't occur, yet those accounts not merged were threatened with deletion and Habbo followed that process through. In 2011 between April and July various names were deleted and many more IDs were created with players harbouring these 'rare' names and now, the DK Hotel will be deleting inactive accounts at the end of July this year!

An email has been released today showing members of all hotels that the name deletion will occur on those inactive accounts that players might have forgotten about or just left, but the deadline day is fast approaching with just over 2 months to make sure your account is active. Also, it's a bit vague (the email) as 'inactive' could mean you haven't visited, but will this also occur with those accounts not logged in for years? Only time will tell, but the hotel has given a short inactivity period in which you must have visited your account.

Reiterating about the email, it informs readers that those accounts not accessed within the last 6 months will be deleted, the accounts not in use will be cleared from their database and after the 31st July the deleted account's username and password will no longer be applicable - I wonder whether the name deletion will be popular for the DK Hotel!

It's unknown why such a move is being made, but again it might just be that many accounts have been made and have not been used therefore they can be put to use elsewhere by another member.

It's time to showcase your comedy skills!

Staff members on www.habbo.fi have created a brand new event centred around stand-up comedy and any user is welcome to participate. The first stage involves users submitting their own jokes/humorous stories (at least five) to staff members via e-mail before the 17th May and then waiting to see if they have been picked as a finalist. All finalists will be informed by the 18th May and on the same day they must be in the official "Stand-Up Room" by 15:45.

The public then have the opportunity to listen to each of the finalists tell jokes for three minutes and vote whether they should go through to the next round or not. They must shout out either "OUT!" or "short-listed" until two contestants remain (the time on stage eventually decreases to two minutes for the contestants). Habbo staff will decide which of the finalists is the winner based upon public opinion and that lucky user will have some of their jokes posted on Habbo.fi's Facebook page -  not forgetting that their reputation in the community will increase.

A brand new wired event has landed on the Spanish hotel!

Earlier on a brand new room opened on www.habbo.es called "The Getaway" - a prison themed event. Players have to complete a number of tasks in order to  "escape the prison" and claim a special badge (although from a personal perspective, it doesn't look fairly Habbo-styled). Tasks include avoiding Pressure Plates, walking only when a Red Candle is lit up and so on.

To begin the task simply go to this room - http://www.habbo.es/room/94678879 - (make sure you have a habbo.es account) and go through the One Way Gate to begin. The badge you can gain is displayed at the top right of this article.

In other news, the popular game "Matchwood" has finally arrived on other more hotels, including habbo.es! It was released onto Habbo.com 61 days ago and has finally reached a variety of hotels - this could suggest the possibility of .com users competing with foreign users (similar to many other games in the game centre)... who knows?!

Four badges have been uploaded for a Eurovision 2013 campaign and two of them are already obtainable!

The two you can get already can be gained by completing a "Eurovision Trivia Telephrase" and the "60 Seconds Of Fame" competition. One of the other badges will be awarded to everyone who correctly predicts the winning country for Eurovision 2013 (by attending the voting room under the "Eurovision 2013" section of the navigator). The other badge may be given out for simply predicting any country, but no-one is entirely sure yet! The two badges that can't currently be obtained are seen at the top right of this article.

Earlier on we reported about MyBobba hosting some fansite events soon, now they have arrived!

Two events have been opened to the community, Battle Banzai and a maze. The Battle Banzai arena will reward you with the badge titled "BattleBall Memories" and the maze will reward you with a badge titled "100% Bobba" (luckily there are two different entrances to the maze).  The Battle Banzai challenge is a fairly enjoyable and competitive event, but the maze has received largely negative views - players are constantly forced to be members of a group and rooms are sometimes too unorganised and small for multiple players.

Are you 100% Habbo?

Earlier on a brand new poll was introduced into the "Keep It Real" (previously "Habbo School Days") official room and is focused on remaining safe on Habbo and Habbo retros (illegal "copies" of Habbo Hotel). There are only 5 questions and the correct answers are relatively easy to pick - all it requires is common sense about being safe online. The poll is located in this room http://www.habbo.com/room/62259178 and you will receive the gold badge (see below) just for entering the room! Here are the full set of badges available for this campaign:

We're not too sure which badge is rewarded for completing the poll or what the final badge is for, but all badges have the same name (Keep it Real!) and description (100% Habbo).

There is no better way to celebrate Mother's Day (a day late) than with a badge reward!

Habbo.com.tr has rewarded multiple users (presumably via a Public Room containing a wf_act_give_reward name furniture item or by completing a mini poll) with a badge that says "I ♥ Mom" on a light blue background. The details of the badge are as follows:

Habbo.de has introduced a user-made event in order to acquire a Mother's Day badge. The event is similar to a gigantic racetrack and the players that manage to reach the end of the it successfully (within the time limit) will all gain the badge. This is not the only badge being given out on the German hotel, as mentioned in a previous news article there will be another Mother's Day badge given out to the winners of a graphics competition as well!
