US pop superstar Jason Derulo has today announced his plans of his very first headline UK tour next February.
The 20 year old is set to play eight dates across England, with one show in Cardiff. The tour announcement comes after performances at Radio 1's Big Weekend and V Festival over the course of the summer, both of which received mixed reviews from fans and critics. Derulo first came onto the scene with his smash debut single "Whatcha Say" peaking at the UK charts at number three, followed by "In My Head" which debuted at number one. Combined with his third single "Ridin' Solo", they have sold over 1.3 million downloads combined! His debut album reached number eight in the UK charts, has sold over one million copies worldwide, and is also set to reach platinum status in the UK soon, since it has already sold 100,000 copies. The venues on the tour are all relatively small, so it is a great opportunity to see a singer who will one day undoubtebly be huge in the world of music. Tickets are priced between £24 and £26, and go on sale this 10th September at 9:30am. Read more for the dates!

It has today been announced that the nations Mr Nasty is considering quitting ITV axing both The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent in the UK!
The speculation comes after Cowell has spent time thinking about whether it would be worth bringing the show back to ITV for another series after its US launch.
X Factor USA will begin in September 2011; this is when the eight series of the British version would be expected to start. Cowell has said if the show does return it would be in January 2012, this would mean that the show would be taking a year’s break and its winner would no longer be able to participate in the running for Christmas number one in the UK.
Speaking to newspaper 'The Mirror', Simon has said the following: "Yes, X Factor will have to move, and we have to decide whether we can make the show better. Do people want it back? Even though I have got some plans, I’m going wait a few more weeks before I make a final decision."
It has also been revealed that the millionaire’s talent show 'Britain’s Got Talent' could be heading down the same road. Simon has made it clear he cannot handle another year of sitting through auditions for the show and plans only to do the live shows; however he has now said he could be leaving the programme for good.
Simon has said he has a contract with ITV for the rest of this year and that is it, nothing for 2011 onwards has been decided. He has also said he will be doing one show next year and it will not be in England.

Coronation S-theme Park?

If you haven't heard of the 'Wizarding World of Harry Potter' attraction, what bubble have you been living in? It seems that craze has excited money-grabbing executives everywhere as it's been reported that the set of Coronation Street, the popular ITV soap, could soon become the next theme-park style tourist attraction.
According to the Sunday Mirror, bosses of Coronation Street are planning to relocate the Street to Salford Quays near MediaCity UK. This would then leave the existing set available for fans to walk through. Possible ideas for the set is for tourists to have a drink in the Rovers Return (hopefully without all the fights), shop at Rita's Kabin (without the nosy Norris watching you with beady eyes)... and even film their own soap scene. That'd be amazing, in my opinion! I'd love to walk along the cobbles although I'm no good with accents, I'd have to work on that. A source said: "There is a lot there that people would like to visit. Coronation Street bosses think it would be a hugely popular attraction and a fitting tribute to the old set." A spokesman added that "we are currently discussing a number of options." It certainly would be a fitting tribute to the old set that has seen so much. These are the cobbles where Mike Baldwin, pictured right, died in his arch-enemy's arms, Ken Barlow. These are the cobbles that saw the Eileen-Gail catfight. These are the cobbles... oh you get the idea. But what do you think? Would you go to it or do you much prefer Eastenders? [X FACTOR] Audition Show - 3!

Another article for you with highlights of the latest episode of The X Factor as the search continues for Britain’s next biggest music act! Episode three of the current audition process was somewhat entertaining! Like any episode of the X Factor it also provided its fair share of drama! This week the judging panel begin in London! Louis Walsh believes that he is looking for something 'different and wouldn't mind another set of twins' - ha, Louis... I believe if that happens again this year, you might not have a job on the show next year. Luckily for Louis there were many twins auditioning in London this year! 'The Evans Twins' sung a horrific version of Take That’s 'Greatest Day' but somehow Louis still managed to give them a yes, it’s a little worrying now the Mr Walsh gives every young good looking boy band or group a yes! Another set of twins hit the stage... two sixteen year olds going by the name 'Bejon' gave a rather different performance of Wham's 'I'm Your Man'. Once again Louis Walsh 'believed in them' and gave them a yes, I was also very shocked that Cheryl also said yes! Meaning the hideous two are through! I can't possibly write about any more twins; otherwise I might just go mad!! I was absolutely blown away by Storm Lee who performed 'Every Breath You Take' by Strings former band 'Police'. I agreed with Simon on stopping Storm and asking him to sing another song, however I did not feel it was right for Simon to say that the name 'Storm' was a silly name and that he should be using his birth name Lee! Storm then went on to sing U2's hit 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For' and absolutely blew me away, I thought he was amazing and I think he could go very far in the competition. As much as I love Simon, I also think he needs to calm it down a little. Another person in the London auditions who I feel really did stand out has to be Elesha Moses who gave a killer performance of Plan B's hit 'She Said' - this girl was amazing! I really do think this year someone could follow in Leona’s footsteps and we could possibly see another X Factor winner from London. The amount of talent in the capital this year is just in my opinion massive. Read on for a whole lot more! Including highlights from the Birmingham auditions as they kick off!

[UBB] Here comes the bride

Brides very often diet before a wedding to fit in their perfect dress and Vanessa Feltz took that to the extreme with a gastric band. The groom? Big Brother's Victor Ebuwa! Not to worry, it's all just a recreation of the wedding task in Big Brother history. While 1 new housemate enters the house, two left...
Makosi Musambasi and Nadia Almada were both evicted from the Ulimate Big Brother house on Friday. Makosi was the first to leave, evicted with 41.7% of the vote. She didn't look back on her time in the house with anger though. "I still feel very very blessed I was part of something so beautiful and something so huge." Before she was evicted, she was reunited with BB6 winner, Anthony Hutton, who she allegedly had a romp with in the Big Brother pool although on the show, she admitted that this did not happen. "He was such a gentleman about it. I'm glad he came in and we talked." Nadia Almada was next to leave in a shock double eviction with 33.2% of the vote. Before she was evicted, there was an incident now dubbed as 'Plategate' where Nadia insisted that Ulrika Jonsson should have cleared a broken plate up quicker. In my opinion, I couldn't help but just think 'it's a plate, what's the big deal?' She said of her relationship with Ulrika: "Ulrika is a very strong female. I just didn't think I could really be around her." Chantelle, Nick, Nikki and Ulrika were all saved from eviction by the public vote although Brian Dowling is favourite to win the Ultimate Big Brother, which ends on Friday. For my opinion on the show so far, click read more.

It has been revealed from a close source of Cheryl Cole that she could be leaving the UK X Factor at the end of this series, and begin focusing on her career in the United States. It is rumoured that Cheryl is being lined up to be a judge on the US version of the show, along with fellow judge Simon Cowell. She also wants to promote her singing career in the US and live closer to rumoured boyfriend Derek Hough. It has also been revealed that there will not be a X Factor for the UK next year, as Simon focuses on launching the US version, much to the disappointment of all it's British fans, and singers alike. However the news will be music to Danii Minogue's ears, as it was revealed earlier this summer that Simon was considering replacing her for a new female judge. Possible replacements for Cheryl could include the girlfriend of Lewis Hamiltion, Pussy Cat Doll lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, who impressed Simon when filling in for Cheryl due to Malaria, and could be part of the radical changes for the 2012 show. Nothing has been finalised, but X factor staff have been told they will not be needed for 2011, and that the US version of the X Factor will have a huge indication of what will happen to the UK version during 2012.

Boys up and down the country must be daydreaming around the world at the next revelation from the totally delicious, Katy Perry! The 'I kissed a girl' singer has joked that she would turn gay for... Cheryl Cole.
Cheryl Cole, who has recently divorced from footballer Ashley Cole and is allegedly dating dancer Derek Hough, and Katy Perry, who is engaged to actor and comedian Russel Brand, met during auditions of series 7 of ITV reality show, X Factor where Cole is a judge and Perry was a guest judge, filling in for Danni Minogue. Since then, Katy has been piling the praise on Cheryl, including describing her as 'edible' and 'gorgeous'. "I adore Cheryl - she's amazing. I'm very happy with my English stud [Brand] but if I wasn't with him, I'd be trying to date Cheryl" she told Bang Showbiz. "No-one should be as beautiful as she is. I know people get turned on by Simon's [Cowell] power but if I was single I'd rather sleep with Cheryl than Simon" What do you think of this unlikely-but-desirable pairing? GMTV, one of Britain's most successful breakfast shows today went live for one last time due to ITV announcing in March 2010 that the show would be axed in order to make way for new ITV breakfast show ‘Daybreak’ hosted by former ‘The One Show Duo' Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley. GMTV has been a show that the nation has enjoyed waking up to for 17 years! It was decided that the show would come to an end due to financial problems at ITV.
The end of the show also meant that it was the end of the road for several ITV breakfast hosts. Penny Smith, Ben Shephard, Andrew Castle and Emma Crosby were all shown the door as ITV had made it clear to them that they had no intention to include them in the new show. There are now just two of the original GMTV anchors who will be joining the Daybreak team - Kate Garraway as the Entertainment Editor and Lorraine Kelly who will be hosting her former show 'GMTV with Lorraine' now remained to just 'Lorraine' and it will air after Daybreak from 8.30am onwards. Currently there is a lot of speculation as to whether the new show will work. Many viewers have expressed their concern and the question that ITV are continuously being asked is why has a show been killed that still had a lot of life? GMTV’s replacement show will be fronted by Chiles and Bleakley. Adrian has experience as a news anchor however for Christine it’s all new to her. GMTV is known for it’s grilling of MP’s and tackling extremely hard issues in the world of journalism… so will Christine be right for this job?
Daybreak launches on Monday 6th September and will be on from 6am until 8.30am. Read on for more!

Guns N’ Roses walk off stage in Dublin

Rock band Guns N’ Roses were forced to walk off stage at their gig in Dublin last night after fans stated throwing bottles at them. The upset happened after the band was an hour late for their highly anticipated performance. Twenty minutes into their gig singer Axl Rose was forced to stop during Welcome To The Jungle and told spectators "Here's the deal: One more bottle and we go home." He continued, "It's up to you. We would like to stay. We want to stay. We want to have some fun. If you don't want to have fun, all you've got to do is let us know. We've got no problem - we'll go on our way." Three songs later the band walked off.
However, sixty minutes later the band did return to the stage after a member of venue staff told the crowd they were “trying hard” to get Rose to agree to return to the stage. The band played on until 1am for their remaining fans.
Guns N’ Roses also recently caused controversy when they declared “war” on the promoters as the band left Reading and Leeds festival stage. Rose turned up an hour late and tried to play through their curfew but their sound was pulled.

The Dreadfully Drastic World of Doctors: Report 2

When there is a cast change, I shall be writing an article on Doctors. In my first article "Donnaleigh leaves Doctors", I explained that Michelle had been part of the cast for four years and Donnaleigh Bailey needed to move into the real world. The character Michelle Corrigan joined the army. What's in store in this article?
A couple of weeks ago, Dr. Heston Carter had a media circus called upon him. He was set up in a private consultation and didn't like the NHS' ways, this was then recorded and Dr. Heston Carter then had to go to hospital because of stress. One of the nurses named Cassandra liked Heston; however Heston didn't like her back because "it wasn't right". However, it did make Heston's week in the hospital far more pleasant, although it did leave The Mill in shreds. Another thing which has happened is that Julia Parsons, Practice Manager is getting old. She's been shaking a lot in the recent episodes and the new Doctor may be able to help her out! The actress being Janet Dibley. Dibley's character is meant to take a different approach to the surgery. Instead of having their ambitions first, they believe that the patients always come first and anyone can talk to her, whilst she will understand. Elaine Cassidy (character's name) was one of the three interviewees alongside Lois Hampton and Harry Fransisco. Dr. Elaine Cassidy had a different approach which was more emotional and personal towards her, but also showed her true colours and why she was a perfect fit for the job. The first scene she was in was on Tuesday, 31st August 2010 at her house in Norfolk with Paul Foster who she is in a relationship with. She didn't make a great start at first, being late and talking to patients outside of The Mill. However, the words she used were very personal to her and different, quite clearly putting patients first. Although I cannot leave any hints on what is going to happen, I believe that she is going to make a huge contrast between other members of The Mill. If you want to leave a comment, feel free by pressing 'Read more...'

Nadine Coyle offered singing role in Scouting for Girls

British boy band Scouting for Girls have offered Nadine Coyle a singing gig with them on the condition she quits Girls Aloud. Nadine Coyle joined Girls Aloud in 2002 after winning reality TV show Popstars: The Rivals. Since then Girls Alous has went on to have twenty consecutive top ten singles, four number ones and two number one albums in the United Kingdom. Since 2009 the group has been on hiatus to pursue solo careers but will reunite later this year to produce a new studio album. The Scouting for Girls boys, responsible for hits such as She’s So Lovely and This Ain’t A Love Song revealed they found out about Nadine’s possible departure from massively popular Girls Aloud in a gossip magazine. Bassist Greg Churchouse said: "I was reading Heat magazine and saw Girls Aloud were getting back together but not inviting Nadine, right, back. I thought she could do some work with us. If she wants to join us on the bus for a little tour of the UK, she's more than welcome. After a few days we get a bit smelly. It would be an interesting one as girls keep nice and clean and neat and have showers but we don't care as much for our luxuries. It's more about our necessities."
