Whose video is it, who's who's

As some of you may of known, Habbo done a competition where you had to make a video of your Habbo singing a song from Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam and then post it on Youtube.

Habbo had to go through a lot of entries, some bad some good, but they've finally picked the nine finalists. The nine finalists are:

These nine finalists entered some amazing videos; some better than others, but all still amazing. You can vote for your favourite entry by using the poll, where you can find by using the 'Read More' button. The number 1 Habbo Summer Jam Winner will be announced on Friday 17th September. The winner will receive a Habbo signed trophy.

Habbo needs you to use your amazing graphic skills to design an invitation for the next Top of the Food Chain competition.

Invitations are used for a number of different things. Many people use invitations for weddings, restaurant grand openings and more! Habbo needs all the creative graphic artists out there to design an invitation for a food event. Even if you’re not good at graphics, why don’t you give it a go? You never know you might event win! The design of the invitation is totally up to you, if you decide to enter this competition, make sure you think of something amazing! It gives you a good chance to impress the competition judges.

How to Enter:

Ok now onto the prizes! Five of the best invitation designs will be selected. The lucky five winners will receive an Astro Bar and 5 points for their team! If you’re thinking about entering this competition, make sure you enter quick because the deadline is Sunday September 12, 9am EST (that is 9pm in Singapore, 11pm in Sydney, 6am in Los Angeles and 2pm in London!) Are you that sort of person who goes outside at night?

Are you that person who goes out in dark? If you are, read on. As you know Habbo Staff have gone all protective on Habbo, to make sure your Habbo doesn't get hacked easily.

Now Habbo Staff wants to be protective in the real world, by you answering a quick survey. Something that they would like to know are, your name, age, school level, sex, handphone number which is basically your cell/mobile phone (I would put that in if you don't trust Habbo and want to keep your number private). Other things they'd like to know is that if you hang about outside after 11pm and if so what time till. So there just some things Habbo would like to know about you, so if you'd like to answer the survey, then simply just click the 'Read More' button.

Apologies in advance for the very unimaginative title but this is breaking news that doesn't need a fancy title to make it more appealing. Habbo has been updated with lots of exciting new features that I'm going to break down for you in this article.

I remember during Habbox Summer Spectacular how annoying it is to make rooms. Clicking in your inventory, putting a HC Sofa down, clicking in your inventory again, putting another HC Sofa down and repeating the cycle again and again. I'm not the only one to spot it though as Habbo have now made it much easier to put repeat items down without all the fuss. The inventory will stay open when you put down furni so you don't have to open it again... and again... and again. On a similar note, when picking furni up, if you don't want to use the command :pickall, just hold Ctrl and click on the piece of furni you want to pick up and it will jump straight into your inventory. A very good start, Habbo, so far so good!

The achievements page has also had a little update. I don't know about you but I've never been too sure how far I am the next badge. Well now thanks to the new update, I can! You are now notified of your progress and it tells you how far you are from the next badge. There have been reports of some errors concerning this update with some users saying that it appears that their achievements have been reset. I hope Habbo fix this soon! Also, concerning achievements, achievements with long names will no longer be cut off.

If you want to buy something in someone's room but not really interested in browsing through the catalogue for it, when you click on a piece of furni in a room, if it is available to buy, you can now click a button underneath the furni motto that will allow you to buy the item. This is really handy if you're unsure where a piece of furni is in the catalogue but you desperately want one! I've added an example of a Pineapple Plant taken from the Habbox Help Desk at the top of the article. Not really something I want to buy but it's only an example!

It was the most important question in boyband history. Every teenage girl around the country would discuss this topic for hours on end. Our very own Roxy916, Assistant General Manager at Habbox, is an open fan of both of them. Yes, that's right: Busted vs McFly? If you much prefer McFly (Obviously) and would only like Busted if it was the Year 3000, you're in luck! McFly are coming to Habbo Hotel!

McFly first broke onto the British pop scene in 2004 with their first single 'Five Colours in their Hair' reaching Number 1 in the UK charts. They've moved on a lot since then and sixteen singles and five albums later, Tom, Danny, Dougie and Harry are coming to Habbo Hotel on Friday 10th September at 5pm BST (British Summer Time). McFly will be promoting their new single 'Party Girl', which is available in stores now and is the first single on their soon-to-be-released album. They will be talking about their new single and much more in the MTV VIP Lounge.

The reason Habbo give for their arrival is 'Because they're awesome! ;D' which suggests to me they're not big Busted fans. I imagine it doesn't look so good writing 'Because they want you to spend your money on their music' though. It seems the summer weather is back, (right as we go back to school and college) but at least we can cool down with some delicious Capri-Sun, while completing the third Capri-Sun quest!

The latest of the Capri-Sun quests, retains the same plot as the first two, trying to find the pouches in order to win a fantastic, non-tradable prize, meaning this is your one and only chance to get it!  This months prize is a branded Capri-Sun Arcade Machine, but remember, Habbo only have 10,000 to give out so make sure you submit the answer to this months question as fast as you can!
